3 PhD positions on ‘Cities of Refuge’. What is the relevance of international human rights as law, discourse and praxis, to how local authorities welcome and integrate refugees? This is the central question in a four-year socio-legal research project funded by the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research and lead by prof. B. Oomen at Utrecht University. The PhDs will be working on Italy/Greece, Switzerland/Turkey and Germany/the Netherlands respectively.
