To teach bachelor- and master students in criminology, and coordinate the bachelor- and master- programme’s
To conduct individual research in the field of criminology and the research programme Criminal Justice, and to publish the results
To acquire research funding
To supervise PhD-students and junior faculty members
To participate in managerial and organisational tasks within the Section and the Faculty.
A PhD-degree in social science, policy science, public administration and/or penal law with a apparent interest in criminology.
Our preference is a candidate with solid experience and expertise in the field of policy development, implementation and evaluation
Teaching experience at university level, evidenced by teaching evaluations
Excellent research capability, evidenced by a sound record of international publications.
Excellent commandment of the English language. Non-Dutch speaking candidates should be willing to acquire a sound working knowledge of the Dutch language.
